🔒 Privacy

Building the schema and generating data happen entirely in your browser. Generated data is never sent to any server. The schema and row count are saved only in this browser's local storage. Only when you press “Share schema” is a URL containing your schema (field names and types) and row count sent to the shortener (share.omikuji.dev), where it is stored.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What is the maximum number of rows I can generate?

Up to 100,000 rows. Large datasets can be downloaded as JSON or CSV.

Where is the generated data stored?

Data lives only in browser memory. Nothing is sent to a server, and it disappears when you close the tab.

Can I share a schema with my team?

Yes. Press “Share schema”: a URL containing the current schema (field names and types) and row count is sent to the shortener share.omikuji.dev, which stores it, and the short link is copied. If shortening fails, the long URL is copied instead. Opening the link reproduces the exact same schema.

Where does the generation happen?

Entirely in your browser. Generated data is never sent to any server. The one exception: pressing “Share schema” sends a URL containing your schema (field names and types) and row count to the shortener, where it is stored.
