How does Nether coordinate conversion work?

Overworld coordinates are divided by 8 to get the Nether equivalent. The panel shows both values as you move the cursor.

How do I link two Nether gates?

Create one marker in Overworld and one in Nether, both set to Category: Portal and Type: Nether Gate. Then edit either marker and select the counterpart in Linked Nether Gate.

Where is my data saved?

Everything is saved in your browser's localStorage on this device. Nothing is sent to any server.

How do I move data to another browser or device?

Use Export JSON to download your markers, then open the tool on the other browser and use Import JSON to restore them.
