Set your deadline and days-off pattern
Enter the deadline in Settings and match weekly days off, holidays and extra days off to how you work.

Add to-dos one line at a time. Check them off when done; reorder with ▲▼.

Watch your real remaining time and pace
The big number is the days you can truly work. Remaining tasks ÷ workdays gives days per task.
Day-off priority: exception workdays > extra days off > holidays > weekly days off.
Even a holiday counts as a workday if you add it to exception workdays.

What is Workday Countdown?
"A whole month left" is an illusion. This tool confronts you with your true remaining time — the workdays until your deadline after subtracting weekends, holidays and your own days off. Everything runs in your browser.

Privacy: Projects, tasks and settings are stored only in your browser's LocalStorage and never sent to a server. The only external requests are fetching Japanese holiday data (holiday.omikuji.dev) and, when you share, the URL shortener. Task content may be personal, so it is never included in share URLs.
FAQ
Which country's holidays are used?
Japanese public holidays. You can toggle them on or off; they are on by default only in the Japanese UI.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your browser (LocalStorage). Nothing is sent to a server and nothing syncs across devices.
Can I manage multiple projects?
Yes. Switch projects from the header select, create with the + button, delete in Settings. Each keeps its own deadline, days off and tasks.
What does sharing send?
The share URL contains only the deadline and days-off settings. Tasks are never included. A new project is added on the other device only after the recipient confirms the import.
