Boat 1/3
Tap an empty hole = pour batter Tap a cooking ball = half-flip (90°) Tap a golden ball = lift into the boat

How to play

1

Tap an empty hole to pour batter. The filling is added automatically.

2

When the bottom turns golden, tap to half-flip (90°). Two flips make a round ball.

3

Flip too early and the batter collapses; leave it and it burns. The center holes cook fastest.

4

When both sides are golden, tap to lift it into the boat. Fill eight, then add sauce, mayo and bonito.

5

Your stall grows with every ball. Try to complete all six fillings.

🐙 A cook's tips (from real takoyaki)

  • Pour enough batter to overflow the hole — that's the authentic way.
  • Flip in two 90° turns, not one.
  • Flip the hot center holes first; leave the outer ring for later.
  • When in doubt, flip a touch early (raw can be re-cooked, burnt can't).

Features

Per-hole doneness with realistic uneven heat
The center is hot, the corners are cool. Flipping from the center outward is both realistic and the winning strategy.
The authentic 90° half-flip, done twice
One tap doesn't finish a ball — turn it 90° twice to form a sphere. Too early and you get a mushy ball.
A daily stall with the same conditions for everyone
A date seed gives every player the same order and filling sequence. Copy the emoji result to share.

FAQ

Is it free to play?

Completely free, no sign-up. It runs in your browser with nothing to install.

Will my stall log be lost?

Records are saved only in this browser on this device and are never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data will erase them.

Any tips for grilling well?

Same as the real thing: flip the hot center first, turn 90° twice, and flip a touch early when unsure (raw can be re-cooked, burnt can't).

The giant octopus never shows up

The giant octopus appears about 2% of the time. Check the daily stall too — its filling order changes every day.
