Ways to Use It

Turn WebM into MP4

Screen recordings often come out as WebM, which many apps can't open. Convert to MP4 and it plays everywhere — phones, office suites, TVs.

Shrink Videos That Won't Send

Drop the resolution to 720p or pick "Compact" quality to cut the file size dramatically — perfect for email and chat attachment limits.

Share iPhone Videos

MOV files don't open everywhere. Convert them to widely-compatible MP4 before sharing to avoid playback trouble.

Embed in Slides & Courses

MP4 is the safe choice for presentations and LMS embeds. Normalize the resolution and keep files light for smooth loading.

Privacy

Selected videos are processed only in your browser. They are never uploaded to any server.

FAQ

Which formats are supported?

Input: any video your browser can play — typically WebM, MOV and MP4. Output: MP4 (H.264), WebM (VP9) and animated GIF. Formats the browser cannot play (such as AVI or MKV) are not supported as input.

How do I compress a video to make it smaller?

Load an MP4, then lower the resolution (e.g. 720p) or choose "Compact" quality and convert. The size savings are shown after conversion.

How long does a conversion take?

The video is converted while playing inside your browser, so it takes roughly half to the full playback duration depending on your machine.

Are my videos sent to a server?

No. Loading, converting and saving all happen entirely in your browser. Your video data never leaves your device.

Conversion settings

Output format
When in doubt, pick MP4 (most compatible). GIF has no audio; its frame rate follows the quality setting (High 15 / Standard 10 / Compact 6 fps) and large resolutions grow huge
Smaller sizes mean lighter files. Videos are never upscaled
Quality
"Standard" looks great for most uses. Choose "Compact" for the smallest files
