❓ FAQ

How do I show it fullscreen on a projector or TV?

Connect your computer to the projector or TV (HDMI, casting, etc.) and set the display to duplicate or extend. Then press the Fullscreen button at the top right (or the F key). Switch on "Hide buttons (Zen mode)" to leave only the scores and timer on screen — tap a score to add, long-press it to subtract, or keep using the keyboard. In fullscreen, the first Esc leaves fullscreen and a second Esc brings the buttons back.

Will I lose the scores if the page reloads?

No. Scores, team names and the timer are saved in your browser automatically, so reopening the page on the same device and browser picks up where you left off (only the undo history is lost). To start a new game, press "Reset scores" twice — that clears the scores and period but not the timer, which has its own reset button.

Can I add 2 or 3 points at a time, like in basketball?

Yes. Choose 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 under "Step" at the bottom; taps and the +/− buttons then use that value. Made a mistake? Undo (U key) steps back one action at a time.

Can I run it with just the keyboard?

Yes. The left (top) team is Q to add and A to subtract, the right (second) team is P / L, the third is Z / X and the fourth is M / N. Number keys 1–4 also add points. Space runs the timer, U or Ctrl+Z (⌘Z on Mac) undoes, and F toggles fullscreen.

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Teams stack vertically in portrait and sit side by side in landscape. Long-press a score to subtract. Where the browser supports it, the screen is kept awake while you use it (Screen Wake Lock).

Is any data sent anywhere?

Scores are never sent. Scores and settings stay on your device. Only when you press "Share settings" is a link with settings such as team names sent to our URL shortener (share.omikuji.dev).
