Class Timetable Maker

Fill in a weekday-by-period table to make a class timetable. Each subject gets its own color, and you can print it on one A4 page or save it as an image.

Features

  • A Mon–Fri, Mon–Sat or Mon–Sun table with up to 12 periods (with times) for subject, room and teacher
  • Each subject automatically gets its own color — soft tints that stay distinguishable for color-blind readers, with dark, readable text
  • Print it on one A4 landscape page, or save a PNG for your phone's lock screen or a class message
  • Add break rows such as Lunch, and rename, reorder or time each period
  • Your timetable is saved on this device, and a share link passes the same timetable to someone else
  • To chart how you spend a day, use the Daily Routine Pie Chart instead

Use cases

School timetables

Make a timetable for the classroom wall or your planner at the start of term.

College class schedule

Add rooms and lecturers to see where to go each period at a glance.

Share with family

Send your child's timetable to the family as a link or image.

Privacy

Your timetable is stored only in this browser on this device and is never sent anywhere. Images are made on this device. A share link carries the timetable after the “#” in the URL. That part is not sent to the server when the page opens, but anyone you give the link to can see it.

FAQ

It prints on two pages, or without colors

The timetable is laid out to fit one A4 landscape page. In the print dialog, choose A4 paper and the default (100%) scale. If the colors are missing, turn on “Background graphics”.

How are the colors chosen?

Slots with the same subject name get the same color. Going from the top row and from Monday, the first time each subject appears it gets the next of 10 colors; the 11th subject starts again from the first color. Spaces at either end are ignored, but different spellings count as different subjects.

Can I make it on my phone?

Yes. Tap a slot to open the entry fields, and tap a subject under “Subjects already used” to fill it without typing. Even the 7-column Mon–Sun table fits the screen width; turn your phone sideways for larger text.

How do I add times?

Enter each period's start and end time under “Periods and times”. Times differ from school to school, so the template leaves them blank.

What happens to my timetable when I open a share link?

Opening a share link replaces the timetable on that device with the shared one. Press “Back to my timetable” right below it to restore the one you had before. Your previous timetable is kept on this device, so you can still restore it after reloading or from another tab, until you press “Keep this timetable”.

How is this different from the Daily Routine Pie Chart?

This page makes a weekly timetable of weekdays by periods. To chart a single day — sleep, study, meals — on a 24-hour pie chart, use the Daily Routine Pie Chart.

Periods and times

Times differ from school to school, so the template leaves them blank. A break row (such as Lunch) spans the whole table.
