Loading, composing and exporting all happen inside your browser, on your own device. No image is ever sent to a server. The shareable URL contains only settings – arrangement, spacing, background colour, output format – never the images themselves, and no image is written to localStorage. Close the page and the loaded images are gone from memory.

❓ FAQ

Are my images uploaded?

No. Merging is done with the browser's own Canvas, so images never leave your device. Once the page has been opened it even works offline. The shareable URL carries settings only, so sending someone the URL does not send them your images.

What happens with images of different sizes?

With "Keep original" every image keeps its own size and the gaps are filled with the background colour. With "Match widths" or "Match heights" the other images are scaled down to the smallest one before being placed. Nothing is ever enlarged, because upscaling loses quality. Match widths for a vertical strip and heights for a horizontal strip and the result lines up cleanly.

Can the background be transparent?

Yes. Tick "Transparent background" and export as PNG or WebP. JPEG has no transparency, so with JPEG the background colour you picked is used instead. With a transparent background the spacing between images and any leftover margin stay transparent.

How many images can I merge?

Up to 30 at a time. The real limit is the browser's maximum canvas size: if the combined pixel count is too large the export fails, so with very large images use "Match widths"/"Match heights" to scale them down, or merge in batches. The output size is shown under the preview so you can check before exporting.
