Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Pages are drawn by pdf.js — the same PDF renderer built into Firefox — running inside your browser, so the file never leaves your device.

Which resolution should I choose?

96–150 dpi is enough for viewing on screen; 300 dpi is the usual choice for printing. An A4 page is about 1240×1754 px at 150 dpi and 2480×3508 px at 300 dpi. 600 dpi is for fine drawings and produces very large files.

PNG or JPEG?

PNG keeps text and line art crisp. JPEG makes much smaller files for photo-heavy pages. WebP sits in between and is usually the smallest where it is supported.

High resolutions fail on my phone

Mobile browsers limit how large a single image can be (about 16.7 megapixels on iPhone). When a page would exceed the limit, it is scaled down automatically and marked as scaled in the results. Use a computer for very detailed exports.

Can I convert password-protected PDFs?

PDFs that ask for a password to open cannot be converted. There is no way to enter a password in this tool.
